Albert Throgmorton is a character in The Sinking City.
This article contains spoilers on the Frosty Welcome quest.
Albert Throgmorton is the son of Robert Throgmorton who is searching for his whereabouts. The first story mission of the game requires the player to find the missing son and piece together the events that led to his disappearance.
Frosty Welcome[]
Albert went missing after returning from an expedition to Devil's Teeth as the only currently known survivor. After being rescued by a local fisherman, Albert regained consciousness and unknowingly drove both himself and his rescuers into a fit of insanity. Lewis Flynn, an Innsmouther, shot and pursued Albert after he presumably killed a fellow fisherman. Charles finds the murdered Albert hung on a meat hook, shot in the head.
It's up to the player's deductions whether Lewis was in control of his actions (and thus guilty of murder) or was influenced by Albert's psychic mania and not responsible for his death.
Death[]
After notify Robert of Albert's death, Reed will find his casket in the Throgmorton Manor. His obituary reads as follows :
"In Loving Memory. Albert Throgmorton, son of respected Robert Throgmorton and descendant of a robust bloodline, died on Thursday at Oakmont Port aged 25 years. We mourn his untimely death, but we celebrate the way he lived his life.
The Throgmorton family appreciates the many comforting words and prayers sent by the citizens of Oakmont."
When Reed interacts with the coffin, he says "The mortician has touched him up well".
