Former Patient's Shop is a location within Salvation Harbor in The Sinking City.

Description[]

The building is a large store with a sign reading "Men's finest clothing" above the entryway. It has corrugated metal roofing on either side of the entryway. The second floor windows appear to be part of a facade as there is no accessible upper floor.

Inside there is a main floor and a basement.

Main floor[]

Upon entering the main floor there are several shelves with supplies to the right, and a counter to the left. There is strange lullaby-esque music seeming to play from the shell gramophone on the counter, standing too close to the gramophone will cause constant sanity drain. Far to the right of the entryway is a large lootable trunk. Despite the signage on the exterior, there doesn't appear to be any apparel on any of the shelves, the shelves do contain canned food, soap, and cigarettes among other things. A variety of Stygians will appear as the building is explored. The floor has many bloody hand prints on it throughout the majority of which seem to originate from a large hole in the ground near the counter. On the counter are several syringes and a large bottle of aspirin. Behind the counter is a bloody single mattress and a book entitled Shop owner's notes is on the pillow. At the back of the ground floor, near the stairs is a small table with a lamp on it. On this table is a document entitled Hospital response.

Basement[]

The basement can be accessed in two ways, one by the stairs at the back of the ground floor and the other through a large hole in the floor of the ground floor.

The basement is filled with many crates bearing the markings Blackwood-Marsh fish canning factory as well as several wooden coffins against the side wall, one of which is lootable. Along the back wall is a pile of pallets, several barrels and the location where the owner hanged himself. To his left, on a barrel is a Suicide note On the right (if entering via the stairs) is an area filled with a variety of limbs, should reed enter this area several stygians will appear and immediately attack. After dealing with the wylebeasts there is a large trunk and a metal coffin that can be looted. Note staying in this area causes constant sanity drain.
