Description[]

Herbert Glover's Manor is a stone manor with a ground floor, a first floor and a basement.

Ground Floor[]

The front door is unlocked but the back door (on Dunsany Ln) is locked. Upon entry Reed will be attacked by a variety of Wylebeasts. In the entryway is an upright trunk which can be looted. In the next room over, a dining room, there is a table, several statues, a gramophone and some taxidermy. The next room over has two statues, one missing a head. The one with a head can be interacted with, turning the head. On the table in the center of this room is a forty year old newspaper article and a Letter to Mr. Throgmorton. The door in this room is locked, at least for now. The kitchen is mostly empty and the back door is still locked even from this side.

After obtaining the Statue's head from the basement it can be placed on the headless statue near the fireplace. Doing so unlocks the previously locked door nearby. Inside are a great many bags and a trunk which can be looted.

Basement[]

The basement is accessed from the entryway, the stairs just beneath the stairs heading up. Upon entering the basement, immediately at the end of the stairs is an upright trunk which can be looted. The rest of the main room of the basement features a great number of barrels, a pool table, some furniture and a large statue of a snake like creature coiled around an obelisk (possibly representing Dagon). Near the statue on a small table are some Antipsychotics. Through the doorway is a desk with a First aid kit on it as well as a Statue's head. Also on the desk is a briefcase with several masks inside and some books on clairvoyance and dreams. To the side of this room appears to be a wine cellar.

First Floor[]

The first floor is filled with a great many art pieces, including a number of portraits, statues and suits of armor. Inside the main room there is a yellow vase with detailed pictures on it to the right of the entryway. There is also a lootable trunk in front of the empty fireplace there. further is a display case with jars on either side. At the back of the room is another display case, a statue of a man with a trident (presumably Poseidon, an ancient Greek god) and a grand piano. to the left is a set of seats and a statue of a woman wearing a helmet (presumably Athena, an ancient Greek goddess), on the floor here is a now-deceased Herbert Glover, stabbed in the chest.

"Eyes still wide open. Guess he didn't see the killing blow coming. "

In the side hallway there are several different mirrors on the left, and a large painting on the right which can be investigated. On the left there is a Picture of a mirror on a scrap of paper, a crowbar and an empty space on the wall that can be inspected

"Looks like they're short a full set. One of the mirrors was taken "

At the end of the hallway is a room with a safe in it. The safe itself can be investigated, revealing evidence of picking. To the left of the safe is a mirror with bullet holes in it which can be inspected. On the other side of the room is a desk on which is a mounted magnifier which can be investigated using his Mind's Eye, revealing a vision of the late Herbert Glover inspecting the now missing mirror.
