Description[]

It has three floors including the basement. Its exterior is largely stone with large columns along the front and sides. At the top and on either side of the front there are statues of an ape holding a brazier, standing on several humanoid figures. Its interior decoration has a strong African inspiration, with jungle like plants all around the mansion.

Ground Floor[]

In the entryway room there will either be a casket or a cake depending on when it is visited. Next to the casket will be Albert Throgmorton obituary on a small circular table. In the room to the left there is a large fireplace and a bearskin rug, above the fireplace there is a map of Java. Behind that there is a kitchen/dining area. The door at the back here leads to a water access point on Marcussen St.

Upper Floor[]

The upper floor has a great number of plants at the top of the stairs along with a piano, bearskin rug, and a statue. The doorway nearest the piano leads to a bedroom. In this bedroom there is some furnature, a bed, and several plants. Above the bed there is a painting or perhaps a woodblock print. At the other side of the entry area of the upper floor there is a hallway which leads to a study
